Saturday June 4th: Students must arrive by 5:00pm local time for orientation dinner.

Sunday June 5th: Rest day.

Monday June 6th through Friday June 10th: Study Abroad week one.

Saturday June 11th and Sunday June 12th: Optional excursions/activities.

Monday June 13th through Thursday June 16th: Study Abroad Week two.

Friday June 17th: Final day and departure to airport

June 17th - July 1st, 2022

Mission College of Health Sciences Study Abroad Program

With study locations across 6 continents and over 20 countries, this program offers a wide range of experiences for many students each year. 

We'll work with you in all aspects of your preparation (including safety and health briefings), travel, orientation, academic support, medical coverage and 24/7 emergency assistance, housing/meals, personal time for sightseeing, shopping, etc., and post-coursework professional application.  

 

Additionally, we offer: transferrable undergraduate or graduate college credit for your trip, academic and career advising, flexible tuition payment plans, as well as travel and academic scholarships.  Our experiential learning model, comprehensive on-site support, and English-taught courses ensure that your time abroad is the best possible!

Undergraduate Study Abroad Course:

USA011/NRSG 313/413 UNDERGRADUATE STUDY ABROAD (4):

This course is designed to apply the clinical and/or operations skills and leadership expected of a professional with a bachelor's level education in an immersive experience through a two (2) or four (4) week international study abroad (four or eight credits, respectively). The focus of this program is advocacy and critical assessment and evaluation of needs on the personal, client, community, and global level.

(Passport and international travel required).

Program Costs: includes all tuition, fees, and books @ $402/credit; additional travel expenses apply 

Graduate Study Abroad Course:

GSA011/HCM 511/611 GRADUATE STUDY ABROAD (4):

This course is designed to apply clinical, leadership, management, and/or operations skills expected of a professional with a master's level education in a culminating experience through a two (2) or four (4) week international study abroad (four or eight credits, respectively). The focus of this course is advocacy and critical assessment and evaluation of needs on the personal, client, community, and global level.

(Passport and international travel required).

Program Costs: includes all tuition, fees, and books @ $485/credit; additional travel expenses apply
